Pierre is a speaker in various Big Data events, he is acting as a mentor for a FinTech company in Paris and is an advisor for a Rockchain startup on Decentralized Finance. He is a regular lecturer for major French engineering schools. He is ranked Top 100 FinTech and Top 50 RegTech influencer.
With 17 years of experience in IT, he successfully conducted, for over 11 years, strategic projects for large banking groups in the specific field of Capital Markets and Investment Banking. From Market Access, Front-Office applications, Market and Operational risks to Regulatory reporting, Pierre’s experience covers all aspects and products of Finance Industry. He relies on his high expertise of banking information systems but also on innovative technologies to answer efficiently to users needs.
After that, he spent a year building the cloud architecture of a MMORPG on facebook and mobile, where he built a solid experience in DevOps, Reactive architectures and Big Data. Pierre, then returned in 2013 in the world of Finance as Chief Technical Officer of FINAXYS.
During 4 years, Pierre advised major banks on their digital and innovation strategy, leading them in their current Big Data initiatives and the necessary transformation process within the company. Enabling innovation by building bridges between business and IT through a collaborative culture and a data centric organization.
Pierre founded WeeFin in July 2017 to focus on Finance transformation in close relationship with his customers.
